The bill is all over the map, with Jenny O., Free Moral Agents and Spirit Animal joining the Remotes onstage, along with DJ Richy Pennies.

The band was in the studio last weekend recording two new tracks, despite Jon's broken hand (if we can get it together we'll post X-rays... album cover?) and will be mixing at the end of the month with one of LA's finest, Bryan Cook. Single release date scheduled for March 16th, we'll let you know if anything changes. Also in the works is a video for "Shut Off The Machines" by director Warren Kommers.

(10/25/2008) The next time your significant other tells you you need to work on your communication skills, just point out that the Broken Remotes went six and a half months without updating their website. On second thought, that would be a really stupid thing to say. Better just grovel and break out the massage oils.

A lot has happend since the website went down in April. Jon did an interview with Radio Free Silverlake, their were a couple shows, both at the Echo (July 9th and October 6th) and the band appeared live on KSCR with DJ Zach Wolfe. Broken Remotes' tunes also appeared on One Tree Hill, The Ghost Whisperer, Las Vegas and The Secret Life of Amercian Teenagers.

But we're not here to talk about the past. We're here to tell you that the band will play the November installment of Let's Independent! on November 24th at Boardner's in Hollywood with Pizza! and Automatic Drawing. Seeing a pattern? Yes, people love exclamation points.

Election Day is November 4th. Here's your LINK TO YOUR LOCAL VOTING LOCATION

(4/4/2008) The interview and live performance on KillRadio is now available streaming online. Those of you with the stamina to listen to two music geeks trade useless bits of trivia and somewhat insightful thoughts on life, love and music for 62 minutes, click here.
